Supervision of music therapy practicum within the classroom setting

Abstract: This paper presents a model by which a registered music therapist (RMT) may supervise music therapy students enrolled in field study/practicum courses even when it is not possible for the supervising RMT to directly observe the student. Responsibilities of the RMT and the student are delineated. Forms to be used with the present model are also included, which may be mnodified to meet the needs of particular situations.
