Abstract: Aus dem Stadtkrankenhaus Dresden- Neustadt (Ärztlicher Direktor: MR Dr. med. LANGER) 1 Vortrag auf der Tagung der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Physiotherapeuten der Gesellschaft für Physiotherapie der DDR; Bad Gottleuba 2.-5. 1. 1979. Zusammenfassung Zur Unterstützung der Wiederherstellung von Atemfunktion und Kreislauf gehört auch die Physiotherapie zum täglichen Behandlungsprogramm auf Intensivstationen. Frühzeitig begonnene physiotherapeutische Maßnahmen zur Verhütung von Komplikationen am Atemsystem und Bewegungsapparat sind ebenso wichtig wie ein gezielter Einsatz der Physiotherapie dargelegt am Beispiel der schweren Pneumonie.
