Nachbehandlung bestrahlter Genitalkarzinome mit dem Viscum-album-Präparat Iscador

Abstract: 98 eases of genital arcinoma were treated with the viscum album preparation Iscador for 3 years. The treatment commenced immediately after combined radium and X-ray therapy at the I. Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the University of Munich. Of the 98 eases of genital carcinoma 81 had Carcinoma cervix. These were compared with a group of 709 eases who were not given Iscador follow up treatment. The cases treated with Iscador showed a higher 5 year survival rate, as well as an increade in the mean survival rate.
