Réflexions sur les critères de base nécessaires à la classification des stations de cure climatique

Meteorologische Anstalt CH - Zürich Eingang der Arbeit 4. 12. 1982 Zusammenfassung Überlegungen betreffend die notwendigen Grundkriterien zur Einteilung der Klima-Kurorte Im Laufe der letzten Jahrzehnte hat sich das Ziel einer Klimakur von der eigentlichen Behandlung in Richtung Prävention oder Rehabilitation verschoben. In der ersten Hälfte dieses Jahrhunderts blieben die Tuberkulosis-Patienten monatelang in den Kurorten. Es war also richtig die Gesamtwirkung eines Klimas zu betrachten. Heutzutage sind die Kuraufenthalte viel kürzer (meistens 3 Wochen). Es ist also zweckmäßig die Klimaanalysen diesen Tendenzen anzupassen. Kriterien welche auf Jahreswerten beruhen entsprechen den gegenwärtigen Behandlungsbedingungen nicht mehr. Die Grundangaben müssen den Witterungsablauf kürzerer Zeitspannen (Jahreszeit Monate besser Dekaden) wiedergeben. Der heutige Patient kann seinen Kurort auswählen. Er muß also die Vorteile aber auch die Nachteile der Kurorte miteinander vergleichen können. Da das Ziel seines Aufenthaltes im Klimakurort anders liegt muß er die Gefahr kennen dort für seinen Zustand ungünstige Witterungsverhältnisse anzutreffen. Die Wirkung des Wetters auf den Organismus ist nicht immer positiv. Es kann sich sogar um strikte Kontra-Indikationen handeln. Die Analysen der Klimafaktoren oder -indices müssen die Gegenüberstellung von Chancen und Risiken enthalten. Summary Considerations concerning basic criteria necessary for the classification of climatic resorts These last decennaries the aim of a climatic cure has shifted from treatment to prevention and at a lower degree to rehabilitation. In the first half of this century consumptive persons in treatment in the mountains had to spend months in dedicated resorts. At that time it was therefore meaningful to only consider the global climatological impacts. Nowadays cures are of limited duration (often three weeks). It thus becomes indispensable of differentiating the climatological assessment. Criteria based an the year do not correspond anymore to the present conditions. The climatological periods have to be much more selective (seasons months maybe decades/. Moreover today's patients are more flexible in their choices: they must be able to compare not only the advantages but also the disadvantages of every health resort. As the reason for a cure is different today (first of all prevention) the patients must be aware of the risk of finding unfavorable climatical conditions because the impact of the weather an the organism is not always beneficial. It can even be strongly negative. Consequently the determination of the different parameters or indices must consider a new aspect: not only the benefits but also the risks incured. ___MH
